I have allergies, can I use your products?
We recommend using a small amount of product for 24 hours to check for any reactions, as even the mildest natural ingredients can cause sensitisation in certain people. If you know of an ingredient to which you are particularly allergic, please review the product ingredients before deciding to make a purchase.
Do you test on animals?
Absolutely not! Our suppliers have never tested our ingredients or finished products on animals, and never will.
Are your products vegan?
Yes! Our entire range is vegan friendly, even our lip balms, we do not use beeswax, the very few preservatives we use are plant derived.

What is ZEN & SOUL candles made with?
We use a luxury European Rapeseed with a little Coconut wax for scent throw. This wax is vegan and biodegradable and because it has a lower melting point than paraffin waxes, our candles will burn more slowly and with an improved scent throw. Our “Coco Rapeseed” wax is paraffin free, palm oil free and free of toxic materials. Our natural cotton wicks have been chosen to improve the candle performance and allow the candle to burn cleanly all the way to the bottom of the glass. This is the most Sustainable wax on the market, as it is as “local as it can be”.
Please note that our candles are hand poured, not mass produced, and whilst every effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be different.

Do you take back empties to refill?
No not currently, as we think the carbon footprint of shipping empty product containers is not justified, in addition to the significant amounts of energy and chemicals used to sterilise containers safely for re-use is not actually a sustainable option. Our products and packaging including containers are all recyclable and we encourage re-use of containers. We are continuously looking at ways to improve and is looking at refill candles and alsoto sell refills for Diffusers.
We are currently making refill bottles for Car diffusers.
Are your products safe around animals?
The first thing you should do is consult a veterinarian. Your veterinarian knows best if your pet is more sensitive than others.
Should you choose to diffuse essential oils around your pet in for example a room spray, we recommend:
-Using only small amounts of essential oil
-Not use around dog or on bedding
– Make sure that the room is well ventilated with a window slightly open
– Always keep a door open so that the animal can enter and exit the room easily
– Watch how your pet responds to the aroma, and if you notice your pet resisting, discontinue
